We filter our mail through Google, which does a pretty good job of weeding out the junk into a spam folder. Unfortunately though, we still end up with a lot of mail in that folder, to the extent that it is sometimes difficult to spot the genuine enquiries. If you are contacting us for the first time (or from a new email address that we aren't likely to have on record), and don't get a response, try including the word unsolicited in the subject field of your mail. If you do this, our highly trained filters will hopefully rescue your email from the torrent of gibberish that we normally receive, and pass it on to a human for a sensible response!

Hopefully, one day soon, someone will get round to sorting out a sensible standard for un-spoofable email, and we'll all breathe a great sigh of relief.
